  Kris has been in the financial services business since 2007. His prior experience in investment management, insurance, retail banking, lending, mortgage, and real estate helps clients manage a wider range of their financial and investment needs. His combination of experience and level of service is what differentiates his practice. 

 In addition to an undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, Kris attended graduate school at East Carolina and Indiana University-Bloomington. He also has a Master’s in Accounting and Financial Management. He completed the CFP® training at Oglethorpe University and is a Certified Financial PlannerTM practitioner, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He maintains FINRA Series 63 and 65 registrations. He also maintains a GA Life, Accident & Sickness, and Variable Products Insurance licenses, a GA Real Estate license, and a Mortgage Loan Originator license.

Professional memberships include the national and Georgia chapters of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Board of Realtors, and the Dekalb County Board of Realtors.Outside business hours, he's an able-bodied sailor, competent fencer with foil and epee, can move metal with a forge and anvil, can build most anything with wood or metal, plays a little piano and a little less guitar, loves learning new languages, collects folk music instruments and professional credentials, and referees a mean game of kickball. His kids think he's a pretty cool dad (if they want to keep their iPad's anyway.)
